I have experience working as a clinician in both private practice and community mental health. In addition, I have 20 years of experience as an educator in both the high school and middle school settings.
My experiences have allowed me to serve a wide range of clientele, including teens, adults, couples, and families from all cultures and faiths.
I hold a BA in Psychology from the University of Missouri, a Master's in Teaching from Webster University, and a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in a commitment to continuous learning and practical understanding. I utilize a flexible and integrative approach tailored specifically to your interests and therapeutic goals.
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and talk therapy in sessions depending on the needs of the client.
I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and the Systematic Training for Effective Parenting (STEP) method.
